1. Reset the Sound Card to it's Factory Settings in Focusrite Control
Launch Focusrite Control , and do a “Reset to Factory Defaults” from the “File” tab.

2. Make sure you are using the correct audio driver: ASIO
In your DAW's audio settings, select the Focusrite USB ASIO driver as your audio system.

3. Check the audio buffer size
Still in your DAW, adjust the buffer size knowing that:
The higher the buffer, the higher the latency (but your system is more stable).
The lower it is, the lower the latency (but the more likely you are to experience audio crackling if your computer isn't powerful enough).
For recording : aim for a buffer of 64 to 256 samples .
4. Turn off all effects on your vocal track and master
Some effects (reverb, pitch, auto-tune, etc.) can slow down the audio signal.
✅ Solution: Try recording without effects and see if your effects could be the cause of the problem.
