In Logic Pro
- Go to Settings.
- Go to the MIDI tab and select “Impulse” and “Impulse MIDI In” in the MIDI Input section.
- In your track parameters, choose “Impulse” as the MIDI input device.
In FL Studio
- Go to Options > MIDI Settings.
- In the list of MIDI devices, select “Novation Impulse” as input, and don't forget to click on Enable underneath.
3. Connection test and virtual instrument selection
Once the keyboard has been connected and configured in your DAW, load a virtual instrument (VST) to test the connection.
Play a few notes on the keyboard to check that the MIDI signal is being received by the DAW.
