What is EXPORT mode?

Easy playback via Pro DJ Link, less dependent on your laptop during your performance.

Option to display the beatmatch grid on CDJ.

Hot Cue settings made on the fly will be automatically updated in your Rekordbox library.

Perfect if you want to prepare your tracks/set.

STEP 1:

Connect the 2 CDJ cables to your MAC (use a hub)

STEP 2:

Download the “CDJ Aggregator” application from the Pioneer website.

Open the application and click OK.

STEP 3:

Open Rekordbox.

Select EXPORT mode in the top left corner.

STEP 4:

Go to Preferences.

In the Audio settings, select CDJ/XDJ.

STEP 5:

Go to Input/Output

Check the output channels

Output Deck 2

L = Output 1

R = Output 2

Output Deck 3

L = Output 3

R = Output 4

Close Preferences

Wait for the link button to appear

After connecting with the link (only works with the driver), you will see the decks at the bottom

STEP 6:

Go to Sources on the CDJ

Select your laptop (LINK)

Browse your library on the CDJs.

Set the DJM output channels to “LINE” mode.

Check that the CDJ audio outputs are connected to the CDJ ‘LINE IN’ input (channels 2 and 3) using the red and white RCA cables.

Set the “Balance” knob to the center position (12 o'clock) for a balanced output level.

Adjust the “Trim” knob for each channel so that the signal does not exceed 0, to avoid distortion.

Gradually increase the master volume to send the sound to the front speakers.
